Touraj Amini, a Baha’i writer, was sent to the Central Prison of Karaj to serve his sentence. On June 8, 2020, the Revolutionary Court in Karaj sentenced him to one-year imprisonment and two years of internal exile on the charge of “propaganda against the government” through publishing books and articles about the history. A year before that, security forced had raided his house and confiscated his laptop, notes, and books. The court of appeals later reduced his imprisonment sentence to six months.
