Iran’s Minister of Education announced the convening of the first meeting of the Sunni Education Committee. He said the committee was set up at the request of Sunnis to examine their problems in the field of education.

Minister of Education Seyed Mohammad Batahi said about the importance of forming a Sunni committee in education: “One of the criticisms of Sunnis against the Ministry of Education was that they face problems in the field of curricula and manpower and there is no official, subdivision or organization in the Ministry of Education to address these issues and address their problems and issues.”
