Mary Mohammadi, a Christian convert who spent six months in prison after being arrested in November 2017, was sentenced to three months’ and one day of imprisonment and ten lashes for participating in a protest against the shooting of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752. The protest was held on January 12, 2020. This sentence was issued by Branch 1167of Tehran Province Criminal Court. This sentence was suspended for one year.
