Molavi Ali Safar Zehi, a Sunni cleric living in Golestan Province, has been sentenced by the Zahedan Revolutionary Court to two years in prison.

He was arrested in June this year after appearing in this court and is currently in Zahedan prison.

The verdict was handed down in connection with charges such as “illegal border crossing.”
