Fazel Choupani, a school teacher, and a 15-year-old boy named Loghman were arrested on Wednesday in the city of Baneh.

One of the detainees, Fazel Choupani, was a teacher at a school in Baneh and, according to relatives, had been arrested for his religious activities.

Another detainee was a 15-year-old boy named Loghman, who was also arrested in connection with religious activities.

“The arrest of these two people in Baneh is a continuation of the arrests of Sunni activists in the west of the country in recent weeks, and they have also been charged with religious activities.”
