Nine Sunni converts were arrested in the Qala-e-Chenan of Ahvaz and transferred to Karun Prison in Ahvaz.

In recent weeks, nine Sunni converts, Abdullah Mohi Ahmad, 30, Seyyed Khalil, son of Seyyed Ibrahim Taheri, 32, Hamid, son of Hadi, 27, Ali Hadi Moali, 26, Jassem Mohammad Issa, 28, Jamal Abdul Khezr, 30, Seyyed Amin The son of 26-year-old Seyyed Abdullah, Fouad Salamat and Abdul Rahim Salamat were arrested by security forces in the Qaleh Chenan and transferred to Karun Prison in Ahvaz.
