Amin Safari was released from Qezel Hesar prison in Karaj. He was arrested during the clashes in Golestan-e Haftom in 2018. He was sentenced to 23 years’ imprisonment, which seven and a half years of it was enforceable, 148 lashes, two years’ travel ban, and two years of internal exile.
