The prayer hall of Hazrat-e Salman Farsi has been sealed by Mashhad Municipality under the pretext of “non-observance of technical and urban planning criteria”.

The Salman-e Farsi prayer hall is located on Tajer Abad highway, and about 400 Sunni families live in this neighborhood. Molavi Abdul Samad Khani was in charge of leading the daily prayers in this prayer hall.

A member of the prayer hall stated: “Municipal officials, accompanied by security forces, sealed the prayer hall of Hazrat-e Salman Farsi. This prayer hall has been a place of worship and prayer for Sunni residents in this neighborhood for 13 years now.”
