In one of his speeches, the Sunni Friday Imam emphasized removing the “religion” from employment forms, pointing out: “A person who does not pay attention to the rights of others has caused deviance and extremism. The rights of all human beings must be respected. In our country, there is no difference between people.
It is the demand of the Sunni community that the “religion” option is removed from the employment forms. At most, these should only ask about religion and Islam. This is both a meritocracy and religious democracy. The rights of followers of religions should also be respected.”
“We oppose violence and reject the thought,” he continued.
“We took the interpretation of temperance from the Qur’an, and I hope this idea will prevail in Iran. There should not be a difference between followers of religions.”
