Hossein Saabouri, a Sunni religious activist in Khuzestan, was arrested without the presentation of a warrant and transferred to an unknown location.
Hossein Saabouri, 24, a resident of Taleghani (Koreh) town in Mahshahr, was arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence on the street in the early morning of Sunday, July 20, and taken to an unknown location.
According to a source, Sabouri’s family is unaware of the reason for his arrest, but Hossein Sabouri’s activities have been cultural and religious.
This year and in the last days of Ramadan, the security and intelligence forces are banning Sunni religious activists from reviving religious ceremonies and putting a lot of pressure on them.
