Majzooban-e Noor reported that Mohammad Ali Shamshirzan was released from Bandar Abbas prison by the order of the Shiraz Revolutionary Court to spend his exile in the city.*
Around the same time, he, along with Kazem Dehghan, Hamid Arayesh, and four other exiled Dervishes, sent a letter to the then head of the judiciary, Sadegh Amoli Larijani, demanding that he exercise his legal authority to order a retrial.
