On June 23, 2018, the InfoSufi website, which covers news about Gonabadi Dervishes, reported that the Mashhad justice department has challenged the position of Noor-Ali Tabandeh as the trustee of endowed properties of Mazar-e Sultani in Beydokht, Razavi Khorasan Province. Should the government establish its claim against the leader of the Gonabadi Dervish Order, the Hajj, Endowment, and Charity Affairs Organization would obtain the title of the endowed properties.
