Sahba Farnoush was sentenced by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to six years

Sahba Farnoush, a Bahá’í citizen residing in Tehran, was sentenced by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court to six years’ imprisonment on the charges of conspiring and colluding against national security and disseminating propaganda against the Islamic Republic. Farnoush was initially sentenced to 16 years’ imprisonment in absentia. In a second trial his sentenced was reduced to six years’ imprisonment. His sentence was upheld on appeal.
